With organizations seeking to identify the solutions that best address their security gaps and fit their business needs, MITRE Evaluations results have grown in importance year after year, as a source of objective insights into a security product's capabilities and performance.
This year dozens of vendors have participated in Round 5 of the MITRE Engenuity ATT&CK® Evaluations: Enterprise focused on evaluating product capabilities against adversary behavior inspired by Turla, a sophisticated Russian-based threat group that infected victims in over 45 countries.
ATT&CK evaluations simulate adversary behavior and note the detection and protection response of tested products for each of the techniques included in the attack. However, there are no comparative rankings or analysis, and multiple interpretations make it difficult to navigate the results.
